Chikugai Himejima (1840–1928) was a Japanese painter active during the Meiji and Taishō periods.

He was born on March 10, 1840 (Tempo 11). Originally a samurai of the Fukuoka Domain in Chikuzen Province, he moved to Osaka after the Meiji Restoration and became one of the leading figures of the Osaka Nanga (Southern School) painting circle.

Himejima excelled in landscape and bird-and-flower paintings, and was particularly renowned for his depictions of bamboo groves. Among his notable students were Chikuho Mizuta and Unrei Akamatsu.

He passed away on March 5, 1928 (Shōwa 3) at the age of 89.

His given name was Jun (純), his courtesy name (azana) was Shijun (子純), and his common name was Kaizō (解三).

One of his representative works is "Pines, Rocks, and Auspicious Spirits" (松石佳霊図).
